Invitrogen™ Human Furin Recombinant Protein
Description
RP-062 has an activity of 1 U/ul, where 1 U (a unit of activity) is defined as the amount of furin that can release 1 pmol of AMC from the fluorogenic peptide pERTKR-MCA in 1 min. As a fully functional enzyme, RP-062 can also be used in a variety of enzymatic assays. 1 U (a unit of activity) is defined as the amount of furin that can release 1 pmol of AMC from the fluorogenic peptide pERTKR-MCA in one minute (1 pmol of AMC/min). This furin construct represents amino acid residues 1-713 from human furin convertase protein.
