Test Specificity Detects human Galectin-3BP/MAC-2BP in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, no cross-reactivity with recombinant human (rh) Galectin-1, rhGalectin-2, rhGalectin-7, rhGalectin-8, rhGalectin-9, and recombinant mouse (rm) Galectin-1 is observed. In direct ELISAs, approximately 1% cross-reactivity with rmGalectin-9, approximately 8% cross-reactivity with rmGalectin-3, and approximately 15% cross-reactivity with rmMAC-2BP is observed. In Western blots, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse MAC-2BP is observed.
Reconstitution Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
