Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Immunogen sequence identical to the related mouse and rat sequences. Positive Control - WB: human MCF-7 whole cell, human 22RV1 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell, human Jurkat whole cell, rat heart tissue, rat liver tissue, rat PC-12 whole cell, mouse heart tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 whole cell. IHC: human lung cancer tissue, human melanoma tissue, human rectal cancer tissue, human lung cancer tissue, human ovarian cancer tissue, human renal carcinoma tissue, human bladder cancer tissue, human testicular cancer tissue, human appendicitis tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Isocitrate dehydrogenases catalyze the oxidative decarboxylation of isocitrate to 2-oxoglutarate. These enzymes belong to two distinct subclasses, one of which utilizes NADas the electron acceptor and the other NADP. Five isocitrate dehydrogenases have been reported: three NAD-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases, which localize to the mitochondrial matrix, and two NADP-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenases, one of which is mitochondrial and the other predominantly cytosolic. Each NADP-dependent isozyme is a homodimer. The protein encoded by this gene is the NADP-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase found in the mitochondria. It plays a role in intermediary metabolism and energy production. This protein may tightly associate or interact with the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex.
