  • Igneous rocks are formed when magma or lava cools and solidifies
  • Eisco Labs™ Tech Cut Rock and Mineral samples are sourced from a variety of locations around the world and are processed in Victor, NY
  • Set includes twelve different igneous rocks: Quartz Point, Andesite, Basalt, Tuff, Gabbro, White Granite, Pink Granite, Obsidian, Peridotite, Pumice, Rhyolite and Scoria
  • While each specimen will vary in shape and size, they will measure approximately 1 in. each
  • Test hardness, streak color, magnetic properties, appearance, and effervescence to identify the different specimens in this kit
  • Packaged in a box with substantial protective foam padding to store and preserve specimens
