Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Human IKK alpha shares 98% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse IKK alpha. Reconstitute with 0.2 mL of distilled water to yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Positive Control - WB: human placenta tissue, human K562 whole cell, human HepG2 whole cell, human Caco-2 whole cell. IHC: human lung cancer tissue. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

CHUK (IKK alpha) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in signal transduction and cellular communication. It belongs to the cytokine activated protein complex that is an inhibitor of the NF-kappa B complex. IKK alpha along with IKK beta and a regulatory protein NEMO (IKK gamma) phosphorylates IkB proteins which targets the later for ubiquitin mediated degradation. It is involved with several cellular processes with extensive studies on its role in inflammation and cell survival.
