Description

Goat Polyclonal Antibody

In sandwich ELISAs, approximately 20% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat IL-7 is observed, and less than 0.1% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-7 is observed. This antibody neutralizes the biological activity of recombinant mouse IL-7. This antibody will not neutralize the biological activity of recombinant human IL-7. Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS. Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 μg of the antibody by the LAL method.

Interleukin 7 (IL-7) is a hematopoietic cytokine that is constitutively produced by stromal cells from the bone marrow and thymus. IL-7 signals through the IL-7R to promote the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells to lymphoid precursor cells, which give rise to T cells, B cells, and natural killer cells.
