Invitrogen™ IL5RA Polyclonal Antibody
Description
Recommended positive controls: human blood-derived granulocytes. The Neutralization Dose50 (ND50) for anti-human IL5RA is approximately 1-3 μg/mL in the presence of 0.5 ng/mL of recombinant human IL-5 using the human TF-1 cell line. The ND50 is the concentration of antibody required to yield one-half maximal inhibition of the cell surface IL5RA mediated IL5 response on a responsive cell line, at a specific IL5 concentration. The exact concentration of antibody required to neutralize the human cell surface IL5RA mediated bioactivity is dependent on the IL5 concentration as well as on the number of IL5RA present on the cell surface (a function of the cell type and culture conditions).
