Description

Human Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

Specificity: Binds to soluble and transmembrane forms of TNF-alpha and neutralizes its biological activity. Does not bind to TNF-beta.

Infliximab with the brand name of Remicade, is a chimeric monoclonal IgG1 antibody. It binds to TNF-alpha, which is a key proinflammatory cytokine involved in chronic inflammatory diseases. Infliximab functions as TNF-alpha blocker to disrupt the interaction of TNF-alpha with its receptors.
