To determine the equilibrium constant for the formation of a colored species.

Set up a series of solutions with known concentrations of the FeSCN2+ ion and measure the absorbance of each solution spectrophotometrically. We will then construct a standard curve that can be used to determine the concentration of the unknown solutions of the next part.
