Invitrogen™ KCC2 Monoclonal Antibody (N1/12)
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA527610
Description
1 μg/mL of MA5-27610 was sufficient for detection of KCC2 in 10 μg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 140kDa. This antibody was formerly sold as clone S1-12.
Mediates electroneutral potassium-chloride cotransport in mature neurons. Transport occurs under isotonic conditions, but is activated 20-fold by cell swelling. Important for Cl(-) homeostasis in neurons.
