Expression of Bcl-2α oncoprotein inhibits the programmed cell death (apoptosis). In most follicular lymphomas, neoplastic germinal centers express high levels of Bcl-2α protein, whereas the normal or hyperplastic germinal centers are negative.Host Species: Mouse
