Supplier: Epredia™ RB1434A1
Description
The most common feature of plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.Host Species: Rabbit
Isotype: IgG
Species Reactivity: Human. Others not known.
Immunogen: IgM isolated from human serum of a patient with Waldenstrom's
Molecular Weight: 50kDa
Positive Control: Tonsil
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic Ab-2 recognizes the μ heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. Ab-2 does not cross-react with γ (IgG), α (IgA), ε (IgE), or δ (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. Ab-2 is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas.
