Epredia™ Involucrin Ab-1, Mouse Monoclonal Antibody provides accurate, reproducible results.
Supplier: Epredia™ MS126B0
Description
Involucrin is expressed in a range of stratified squamous epithelia, including the cornea. In normal epidermis, it is first expressed in the upper spinous layers, and in keratinocyte cultures it is expressed by all cells that have left the basal layer. Involucrin expression is abnormal in squamous cell carcinomas and premalignant lesions, and is reduced in severe dysplasias of the larynx and cervix.Host Species: Mouse
Clone: SY5
Isotype: IgG1
Species Reactivity: Human, Gorilla, Owl, Monkey, Pig, Dog and Rat. Others not known.
Epitope: Codon 421-568
Immunogen: Human keratinocytes' involucrin
Molecular Weight: 66-170kDa
Positive Control: LS174T cells, Skin
Cellular Localization: Cytoplasmic Ab-1 stains the involucrin in a variety of sizes: 170kDa in MCF-7 cells, a doublet of ∽115kDa and 150kDa in gorilla and owl monkey, 66kDa in dog, and a doublet of 105kDa in pig.
