Invitrogen™ Leptospira LipL41 Monoclonal Antibody (0413)
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA547605
Description
Specificity: Specific to the outer membrane lipoprotein LipL41. Reactive with: 4 Serovars of Leptospira interrogans + 2 Serovars of L. kirschneri. Non-reactive with Lepospira biflexa (as expected) and mammalian cells. Best ELISA pairs (capture/conjugate): Leptospira LipL41 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-47605)/Leptospira LipL41 Monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-47604). Purified preparations consist of >90% pure mouse monoclonal antibody which has been purified from ascites fluid by protein A chromatography. The final preparation is formulated to a protein concentration of 100 μg/mL in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2 and contains 0.1% sodium azide. Each vial contains 1.0 mL. This product contains no stabilizing proteins and should be stored at 4C until ready for use. Working dilution must be determined by the user. Suggested starting ranges are 1:10-1:50 for ICC/IF and 1:20-1:200. for ELISA.
LipL41 is the third most abundant lipoprotein found in the outer membranes of pathogenic leptospires and has been considered a putative virulence factor. LipL41 is encoded on the large chromosome 28 bp upstream of a small open reading frame encoding a hypothetical protein of unknown function. [PMID: 23690405].
