Description

Broad-spectrum antibiotic used in pharmacokinetic , antibiotic resistance, and resistance prevention studies. Levofloxacin is active against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It inhibits DNA gyrase (type II topoisomerase) and topoisomerase IV, thereby inhibiting cell division.
