Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

This Lactoperoxidase antibody is useful for Western blot analysis where a band is seen at ~100 kDa. Caution, do not use milk for the blocking or dilution buffers. Suggested positive control: MDA-MB231 cell lysate.

This gene encodes an oxidoreductase secreted from salivary, mammary, and other mucosal glands that functions as a natural antibacterial agent. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
