Lubricin/SZP Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Bioss

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Bioss BS11175R

Description
Lubricin is a glycoprotein encoded by the PRG4 gene. It has been identified as a component of joint lubrication and synovial homeostasis by reducing friction in joints and preventing synovial cell overgrowth. It is a large, water soluble molecule that acts as a carrier for insoluble surface-active phospholipid (SAPL). Depletion of lubricin function has been associated with camptodactyly-arthropathy-coxa vara-pericarditis syndrome (CACP), an arthritic-like autosomal recessive disorder.Specifications
