Promega Luminogenic Enzyme Substrates
The pro-luciferin substrates can be used to monitor the activity of specific isoforms of cytochrome P450 or NAT2 as indicated in the name of the substrate.
Supplier: Promega P1621
Description
- Luciferin-NAT2 is an excellent substrate for N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2), a phase II biotransformation enzyme that acetylates aromatic amine groups on xenobiotic compounds; shows little to no cross-reactivity with NAT1
- Luciferin-MultiCYP is a promiscuous substrate that reacts with at least 21 P450 isoforms and is useful for measuring net CYP activity in a mixed population of P450s
Luciferin Detection Reagent†, ‡ must be used in combination with the above pro-luciferin substrates. Use Mfr. Nos. V8920/V8921 with P1721, P1741, P1621, P1651 and P1661. Mfr. Nos. V8930/V8931 must be used with P1671 and P1731, as these substrates are ester derivatives.
