Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA547617
Description
Sequence Similarities: 83% Mouse/Rat Tissue Specificity: Ubiquitous Positive control: SW480 cell lysate, HepG2 cell lysate, PC-3M cell lysate, A549 cell lysate, HeLa cell lysate, HT-29 cell lysate, HCT116 cell lysate, HEK-293 cell lysate, mouse brain tissue lysate, mouse liver tissue lysate, rat liver tissue lysate, C2C12, HCT116. Subcellular location: Nucleus.
The liver X receptors, LXRA and LXRB, form a subfamily of the nuclear receptor superfamily and are key regulators of macrophage function, controlling transcriptional programs involved in lipid homeostasis and inflammation. The inducible LXRA is highly expressed in liver, adrenal gland, intestine, adipose tissue, macrophages, lung, and kidney, whereas LXRB is ubiquitously expressed. Ligand-activated LXRs form obligate heterodimers with retinoid X receptors and regulate expression of target genes containing LXR response elements.
