Ensure accurate, reproducible results in immunohistochemistry experiments with the Epredia™ Maspin Ab-1, Mouse Monoclonal Antibody.

Maspin or mammary-specific serpin is a tumor suppressor protein of serine proteinase inhibitor family. Its transcription is regulated in combinatorial fashion by Ets, p53 and AP-1. It is present in normal breast and prostatic epithelial cells but downregulated in the respective carcinomas. The extent of downregulation correlates with the progression of the carcinoma and may help in prognosis.
