Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

Adding 0.2 mL of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/mL. Human MCM7 shares 94% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with MCM7. Positive Control - WB: human Hela whole cell, human MCF-7 whole cell, human MDA-MB-231 whole cell, rat C6 whole cell, human Hela whole cell, human K562 whole cell, human Jurkat whole cell, human MCF-7 whole cell, human 293T whole cell, human U2OS whole cell, human A549 whole cell. IHC: human laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissue, human adenocarcinoma of the colon tissue, human chronic tonsillitis tissue. ICC/IF: PC-3 cell. Flow: MCF-7 cell. Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

MCM7 encodes a protein that is one of the highly conserved mini-chromosome maintenance proteins (MCM) that are essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. The hexameric protein complex formed by the MCM proteins is a key component of the pre-replication complex (pre_RC) and may be involved in the formation of replication forks and in the recruitment of other DNA replication related proteins. The MCM complex consisting of this protein and MCM2, 4 and 6 proteins possesses DNA helicase activity, and may act as a DNA unwinding enzyme. The protein encoded by this gene is one of the highly conserved mini-chromosome maintenance proteins (MCM) that are essential for the initiation of eukaryotic genome replication. Cyclin D1-dependent kinase, CDK4, is found to associate with this protein, and may regulate the binding of this protein with the tumorsuppressor protein RB1/RB. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been reported.
