Invitrogen™ MCP-3 Monoclonal Antibody (36320)
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Invitrogen™ MA523733
Description
In ELISAs, this antibody does not cross-react with recombinant human (rh) CCL2/MCP-1, rhCCL8/MCP-2, or rhCCL13/MCP-4. Reconstitute at 0.5 mg/mL in sterile PBS. Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 μg of the antibody by the LAL method.
This is a secreted chemokine which attracts macrophages during inflammation and metastasis. It is a member of the C-C subfamily of chemokines which are characterized by having two adjacent cysteine residues. The protein is an in vivo substrate of matrix metalloproteinase 2, an enzyme which degrades components of the extracellular matrix.
