Description

AA Sequence of recombinant protein: GPYGANVEDS ICCQDYIRHP LPSRLVKEFF WTSKSCRKPG VVLITVKNRD ICADPRQVWV KKLLHKLS. Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Murine MDC (CCL22). Anti-Murine MDC (CCL22)-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing an immobilized Murine MDC (CCL22) matrix. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Murine MDC (CCL22) by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Biotinylated Anti-Murine MDC (CCL22) (500-P176Bt) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Murine MDC (CCL22). Western Blot: To detect Murine MDC (CCL22) by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant Murine MDC (CCL22) is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

CCL22 may play a role in the trafficking of activated/effector T-lymphocytes to inflammatory sites and other aspects of activated T-lymphocyte physiology. Also, it is a chemotactic for monocytes. dendritic cells and natural killer cells. CCL22 is a mild chemoattractant for primary activated T-lymphocytes and a potent chemoattractant for chronically activated T-lymphocytes but has no chemattractant activity for neutrophils, eosinophils, and resting T-lymphocytes. Binds to CCR4.
