Description

Applied after a specimen is marked with a dye, Melody is a quick drying fixative spray that forms a protective layer on the marked surface while still allowing the tissue processing reagents to penetrate the tissue.

Melody is unique to Mopec™ and can be used with all dye colors and on all specimen types. The chemistry of pigments, especially those seen in yellow, orange and red tissue marking dyes manufactured by alternative suppliers, often suffer during tissue processing protocols.

  • Quick-drying fixative spray
  • Enables strong adhesion of dyes on particularly fatty tissues
  • Ensures marked margins (including yellow, orange and red) are durable and unaffected during tissue processing
