Rabbit Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning in the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Then, individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production. The advantages of using recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies include: better specificity and sensitivity, lot-to-lot consistency, animal origin-free formulations, and broader immunoreactivity to diverse targets due to larger rabbit immune repertoire. This antibody has specificity for Mouse MAP2.

The ADP-ribosylation factor (Arf) family are highly conserved members of the Ras superfamily of regulatory GTP-binding proteins. Arf proteins participate in routing of intracellular proteins to and within the Golgi complex. Cellular functions include maintenance of organelle integrity, coat protein assembly, as an activator of phospholipase D. The Arf family is divided functionally into the Arf and the Arf-like (Arl) proteins. The ARF proteins are categorized as class I (ARF1, ARF2 and ARF3), class II (ARF4 and ARF5) and class III (ARF6) and members of each class share a common gene organization.
