Potent and selective angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) inhibitor

MLN 4760 is a highly potent, cell-permeable and selective inhibitor of angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) (IC50 = 0.44 nM). MLN 4760 inhibits production of angiotensin (1-7) from angiotensin II and reduces ACE2 expression and activity in an animal model of lung inflammation.
