Test Specificity This antibody recognizes the oestrogen receptor beta 1 isoform. This antibody has been used for the immunohistochemical study of the expression of this isoform, showing positive nuclear staining in cells within the ovary, uterus, oviduct, breast, testis, prostate, bladder and male reproductive ducts. There are also reports of staining by this antibody of cells in the adenohypophysis, demonstrating cytoplasmic expression. These results await further characterisation. Clone PPG5/10 reacts with new world primate, primates, human.
