Test Specificity This monoclonal antibody reacts exclusively with myelin sheats in immunohistochemistry. This antibody is directed against a 43 KDa protein in immunoblotting. In paraffin sections the monoclonal antibody recognizes only myelin in Periferal Nerve System (PNS). In frozen sections it will also weakly recognize myelin in the Central Nerve System (CNS).
