Specifically detects PLGF clone: 3A6.2 in Human samples, and it is validated for Western Blotting

Placenta growth factor (PlGF) (UniProt P49763) is encoded by the PGF gene in human. PlGF is a secreted protein primarily produced by placental trophoblast tissues, but is also expressed in other endothelial tissues and cancers. There are three known isoforms of PlGF (PIGF-1, PIGF-2, PIGF-3) that result due to alternative splicing. PIGF-2 is expressed up to week 8 in the placenta; while PIGF-1 and PIGF-3 are continuously expressed by the placental tissues. PIGF-1 expression is also found in colon and mammary carcinomas.
