MilliporeSigma™ Mouse anti-TRPM1, Clone: 545H5,
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: MilliporeSigma™ MABN1841
Description
Specifically detects TRPM1 clone: 545H5 in Mouse samples, and it is validated for Western Blotting
Transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily M member 1 (UniProt Q2TV84; also known as Long transient receptor potential channel 1, LTrpC1, Melastatin-1) is encoded by the Trpm1 (also known as CSNB1C, Ltrpc1, Mlsn1, MLSN1) gene (Gene ID 17364) in murine species. TRPM1 belongs to the TRPM (M for melastatin) subgroup of the family of transient receptor potential (TRP) channels. TRPM1 is a ∼180kDa protein localized to the somas and dendrites of both rod and cone metabotropic (ON) bipolar cells and colocalized with mGluR6 at the dendritic tips, where it plays an important role in light-regulated conductance in ON bipolar cells. Genetic lesions in the TRPM1 gene are associated with complete congenital stationary night blindness in human and TRPM1 knock-out mice have a no-b-wave (nob) electroretinogram phenotype.
