PEP-026 is a 14 amino acid (amino acids 1-14) synthetic peptide whose sequence is derived from murine PPAR delta and is completely unique to PPAR delta. A COOH-terminal cysteine residue was added for conjugation to KLH. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): M1-E-Q-P-Q-E-E-T-P-E-A-R-E-E14-CThis peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and PPAR delta, catalog # PA1-823A. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody.Reconstitute with 0.1 ml of distilled water.
