Test Specificity Detects mouse TER-119 in Western blots. This antibody has been shown to react with cells of the erythroid lineage in embryonic yolk sac, fetal liver, adult bone marrow, adult peripheral blood, and adult lymphoid organs (Ikuta, K. et al. (1990) Cell 62:863). TER-119 Antigen is a molecule associated with cell-surface glycophorin A (Kina, T. et al. (2000) Br. J. Haematol. 109:280). The antibody has been shown to react with erythroid cells at differentiation stages from early proerythroblast to mature erythrocyte (Kina, T. et al. (2000) Br. J. Haematol. 109:280).
