Compact, portable instrument is designed to detect low concentrations of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in a variety of monitoring applications. Though its primary use is for soil remediation associated with hazardous materials spills and underground tank leakage, it may also be used to monitor emissions and detect leaks. Passport PID II detects common compounds such as acetone, benzene, chlorobenzene, heptane, methyl tetrabutyl ether (MTBE), octane, phosphine, toluene, and many others.
