Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-15305 targets Myoglobin in indirect ELISA, IHC and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-15305 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of Myoglobin expressed in E. Coli.

This gene encodes a member of the globin superfamily and is expressed in skeletal and cardiac muscles. The encoded protein is a hemoprotein contributing to intracellular oxygen storage and transcellular facilitated diffusion of oxygen. At least three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been reported.
