N6-Propargyl-ATP is suitable for in vitro AMPylation of proteins as well as in vitro polyadenylation of RNA. The resulting alkyne-functionalized protein or RNA can be processed using Cu(I)-catalyzed click chemistry to attach azide-labeled molecules.
