Description

In Western blot, bands can be seen at ~75 kDa representing isoform 1 and at ~70 kDa representing isoform 2. Suggested positive control: HEK293 postnuclear extracts, antigen standard for OS9 (transient overexpression lysate).

OS9 is an ER glycoprotein found in the intralumenal level and highly expressed in tumor tissue. The OS9 gene is transcriptionally induced upon activation of the Ire1/Xbp1 ER-stress pathway.
