Description

For the qualitative detection of urease associated with H. pylori in the human stomach and as an aid in the initial diagnosis and post-treatment monitoring in adult patients.

• Tests the entire gastric mucosa for active H. pylori infection, reducing the chance of false negatives

• Specificity: 95%
• Non-invasive test — no blood or stool samples needed
• Can be administered in office in 15 minutes; results in approximately 20 minutes
• Four simple steps: patient exhales into blue bag, drinks the Pranactin™-Citric mixture, waits 15 minutes, exhales again into the pink bag

The Pranactin-Citric drug contains 84mg phenylalanine and is not recommended for patients with phenylketoneuria who cannot metabolize phenylalanine.
