Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-15720 targets CDKN1C in indirect ELISA, WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-15720 immunogen is purified recombinant fragment of human CDKN1C expressed in E. Coli. MA5-15720 detects CDKN1C which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 57kDa.

This gene is part of a gene cluster on chromosome Xp11.23. The encoded protein contains a zinc finger motif often found in transcriptional regulators, however, its exact function is not known. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein.
