Description

Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

MA5-14117 targets p73alpha/beta in IP and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and Non-human primate samples. The MA5-14117 immunogen is purified monkey recombinant p73alpha protein (aa380-637).

P73 (TP73) participates in the apoptotic response to DNA damage. Isoforms containing the transactivation domain are pro-apoptotic, isoforms lacking the domain are anti-apoptotic and block the function of p53 and transactivating p73 isoforms. May be a tumor suppressor protein.
