Mouse Monoclonal Antibody

This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). This antibody has specificity for Human PBK/TOPK.

PBK (TOPK) is a serine/threonine kinase that is related to the dual specific mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPKK). The kinase is up-regulated in a variety of hematological malignancies, participates in activating lymphoid cells, and supports testicular function (spermatogenesis). Evidence suggests that mitotic phosphorylation is required for its catalytic activity. This mitotic kinase may be involved in the activation of lymphoid cells and support testicular functions, with a suggested role in the process of spermatogenesis.
