Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Dog (100%); Gorilla, Mouse, Bat, Bovine, Panda, Pig, Turkey, Chicken (94%); Rat (88%); Elephant, Platypus, Lizard (82%). For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the hydrolysis of cAMP and cGMP to their corresponding monophosphates. The encoded protein plays a role in signal transduction by regulating the intracellular concentration of these cyclic nucleotides. Multiple transcript variants encoding several different isoforms have been found for this gene.
