MA5-14721 targets Prostatic Acid Phosphatase in ELISA, IP, and RIA applications and shows reactivity with Chemical samples. The MA5-14721 immunogen is human Seminal Fluid PAP. MA5-14721 detects Prostatic Acid Phosphatase which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 42 kDa. Product MA514721 is a smaller package size of MIP0101 (formerly sold as a Seradyn product).

ACPP is an enzyme which catalyzes the conversion of orthophosphoric monoester to alcohol and orthophosphate. It is synthesized under androgen regulation and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland.
