MA5-13078 targets Prostate Specific Acid Phosphatase in IF and IHC (P) applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The MA5-13078 immunogen is purified prostatic acid phosphatase (PSAP) from human seminal plasma.

ACPP is an enzyme which catalyzes the conversion of orthophosphoric monoester to alcohol and orthophosphate. It is synthesized under androgen regulation and is secreted by the epithelial cells of the prostate gland.
