Description

Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody

Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Rat, Bovine, Dog, Elephant, Panda, Rabbit, Horse, Pig, Opossum, Turkey, Chicken, Platypus, Pufferfish, Zebrafish, Stickleback (100%); Mouse, Xenopus, Pike (93%). For IHC(P), use heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.

PTGES is a glutathione-dependent prostaglandin E synthase. The expression of this gene has been shown to be induced by proinflammatory cytokine interleukin 1 beta (IL1B). Its expression can also be induced by tumor suppressor protein TP53, and may be involved in TP53 induced apoptosis.
