Contains the optimal buffer formulations for use in assays for the conjugation of the ubiquitin-like modifier NEDD8 to protein substrates in vitro

NEDD8 is expressed in striated muscle, and via its C-terminal Gly, forms covalent bonds with cullin family proteins. This conjugation generates ubiquitin ligase activity that regulates cell cycle proteins.

Buffer can be used to supplement NEDD8 conjugation kit (Mfr. No. K-800)
