Test Specificity By immunoelectrophoresis, This antibody gives a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum and purified and partially purified b-galactosidase (E. coli). Cross-reactivity from other tissues and species may occur. This product is suitable for use as a precipitating antibody. This product is specially prepared for the detection and purification of recombinant proteins. It shows reactivity to beta-galactosidase and is tested by Western or dot blot to ensure monospecificity using lysates of D-lac and strain 3.3 of E. coli. No reaction to other E. Coli proteins detected.
