PDK1 Rabbit anti-Human, DyLight 649, Polyclonal Antibody, Abnova™
Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against synthetic peptide of PDK1.
Supplier: Abnova Corporation PAB15330
Description
Pyruvate dehydrogenase (PDH) is a mitochondrial multienzyme complex that catalyzes the oxidative decarboxylation of pyruvate and is one of the major enzymes responsible for the regulation of homeostasis of carbohydrate fuels in mammals. The enzymatic activity is regulated by a phosphorylation/dephosphorylation cycle. Phosphorylation of PDH by a specific pyruvate dehydrogenase kinase (PDK) results in inactivation. [provided by RefSeq

This antibody reacts with human. No other species have been tested. The immunogen used for this antibody production has 100% homology with mouse and rat PDK1 protein. This is specific to PDK1. By Western blot a band is seen at ∼49 KDa, representing PDK1 protein. There are also two higher and one lower non-specific molecular weight bands. | |
