Description
AA Sequence of recombinant protein: MQIAPPCTSE KHYEHLGRCC NKCEPGKYMS SKCTTTSDSV CLPCGPDEYL DSWNEEDKCL LHKVCDTGKA LVAVVAGNST TPRRCACTAG YHWSQDCECC RRNTECAPGL GAQHPLQLNK DTVCKPCLAG YFSDAFSSTD KCRPWTNCTF LGKRVEHHGT EKSDAVCSSS LPARK. Preparation: Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human sRANK Receptor. Anti-Human sRANK Receptor-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated. Sandwich ELISA: To detect Human sRANK Receptor by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μL/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25-1.0 μg/mL of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human sRANK Receptor (500-P144) as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of Recombinant Human sRANK Receptor. Western Blot: To detect hsRANK Receptor by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for Recombinant hsRANK Receptor is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. 500-P144BT-1MG will be provided as 2 x 500 μg
RANK is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) family. The full length mouse RANK cDNA encodes a type I transmembrane protein with an extracellular and a cytoplasmic domain. The extracellular domain contains two potential N-linked glycosylation sites. RANK shares significant amino acid homology with other members of the TNFR family in its extracellular four cysteine-rich repeats. Human and murine RANK share 81% amino acid identity in their extracellular domains.Specifications
