Isolate anaerobic micro-organisms with Thermo Scientific™ Remel™ Brucella Agar with Leaked blood, Hemin and Vitamin K.  Prepared according to American Public Health Association1 the medium contains leaked blood and supports the growth of fastidious anaerobic bacteria. The medium also contains menadione (Vitamin K) and hemin for added enrichment to enhance the growth of anerobic bacteria. Brucella Agar with Leaked blood, Hemin and Vitamin K can also be used for antimicrobial susceptibility testing of anaerobes2,3
