The resDNASEQ dPCR E1A DNA Fragment Length Kit is an absolute quantitation PCR -based system that measures the fragment lengths of residual host-cell DNA by targeting the E1A gene in HEK 293 cell lines, which are predominantly used in the development of gene therapies, cell-based vaccines, and similar biotherapeutics. Reliable and rapid, the resDNASEQ kit enables highly sensitive and specific quantitation of different fragment lengths of the E1A gene within the residual host-cell DNA. This helps ensure a high degree of confidence in quantitation data obtained from a broad range of sample types—from in-process samples with different sample matrices to purified final product—whether the sample contains high molecular weight or sheared DNA.

Integrated workflow solution
The resDNASEQ dPCR E1A DNA Fragment Length Kit is part of an integrated workflow for impurity and contaminant testing during biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The resDNASEQ kit has been validated on the QuantStudio Absolute Q Digital PCR System.

The Absolute Q system has a high tolerance of common inhibitors in biopharmaceutical sample matrices, eliminating the need for nucleic acid extraction in most cases. If nucleic acid extraction is required, we recommend use of the PrepSEQ Residual DNA Sample Preparation Kit, which offers both a manual and automated sample preparation workflow.

Easy to use
With the resDNASEQ dPCR E1A DNA Fragment Length Kit, you perform dPCR analysis to quantitate the copy numbers of three different fragment size ranges in your test samples. The resDNASEQ kit includes almost everything needed to carry out these steps, from master mix to TaqMan primer/probe mix to E1A DNA standards, as well as step-by-step instructions.

Consistent performance
For accurate quantitation of fragments of three different lengths of E1A DNA, assay results must be unaffected by the size of non-specific DNA present in the test sample. With the resDNASEQ system you get consistent assay performance across the three E1A fragment sizes.
